Reply S.p.A. acquires Avvio Design Associates Ltd., a company specialising in brand engagement and internal communications

Reply S.p.A. – a company quoted in the Italian stock exchange’s STAR Index [MTA, STAR: REY] – has strengthened its European presence with the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Avvio, an English company specialising in consultancy and the implementation of strategies and solutions for Brand Engagement and Internal Communications based primarily on Corporate Social Networking.

Avvio’s client base includes leading British and international companies, such as BP, City Link, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Direct Line, Marks and Spencer, Michelin, Nationwide, News Corporation, RBS, Rolls-Royce, BSKYB and Vodafone.

Avvio’s turnover for the year to 31st October 2012 was around £4 million, with EBT of £400,000.

The acquisition counter value for 100% of the Avvio capital is £1.2 million, fully paid in cash.

With this acquisition, Reply has strengthened its position in the digital media arena, with particular regard to social media and social networking.

The Avvio acquisition further underlines Reply’s commitment to expanding its share of the British market. It already has a presence in the UK through a network of highly specialised companies operating in Mobile, Telecommunications, IT Architecture, Supply ChainExecution, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance.
